You can actually make money while you are learning a trade or occupation with the Wisconsin Registered Apprenticeship Program. Apprenticeships combine on-the-job training with classroom instruction. Plus, the Apprentice will be getting the technical back-up necessary for a complete understanding of their chosen field. Just a few hours a week at your local technical college pays off big at the workplace where you can use your knowledge in a practical application.
More information about the Apprenticeship Program is available in the Resource Room at the Workforce Development Center, located at 1717 Taylor Ave, Racine, WI 53403, or contact Gateway Technical College’s Apprenticeship Coordinator at (262) 631-7312.
