The youth assisted in the deconstruction of homes and work in the store assisting staff in the

sale of used home furniture, fixtures and appliances.  The store runs on onations from citizens and other for profit organizations where all building products are removed from existing donated structures and brought back to the store for resale.

The primary goal was to teach the youth the process of reselling items found in homes.  This included removing the items from existing homes, stocking them in the store, pricing them and helping customers find which items they'd like to purchase.  The youth learned how to remove simple fixtures, appliances and other such items from donated homes, and they learned to stock material in a store, price the material, and assist customers in finding what they're looking for.
