The youth worked collaboratively with the Maintenance and Grounds crew and the Environmental Services on several projects, which included converting a small gravel lot into green space, recycling

printer and toner cartridges, assisting with the redeployment  supplies and medical equipment to missions, placingrecylce receptacles at all front entrances and devloping protocol for pick up, developing waste reduction ideas for composting.

The youth learned about Wheaton Franciscan's current "green" efforts, work they can do to asssist the "green" efforts that impact it has on the community.
